Vintage Venture: A Nostalgic Adventure Inspired by Retro Super Mario, Set in the Enigmatic ‘City of Beasts’.

The game begins in the “City of Beasts,” where Massimo, the protagonist, must navigate through a jungle teeming with different creatures and obstacles. To reach the end of the city, he faces challenges like crossing water bodies, confronting beasts, scaling mountains, and surviving the vast jungle. Along the way, Massimo can collect valuable coins to enhance his adventure.

Vintage Venture: Two Ways to Play

1. Keyboard-Only Control:

Download "Vintage Venture.zip" file for this one and follow the readme file. For those who prefer a simpler approach, Vintage Venture can be fully controlled using the keyboard. Standard keys (W, A, S, D for movement, and Space for jumping) are used to navigate the game without requiring any external devices like a webcam.

2. Hand Gesture Control (with Webcam):

Download "Hand Gesture Control Vintage Venture.zip" file for this one and follow the readme file.  Vintage Venture can be controlled using hand gestures via a Python-based gesture recognition system. By using your webcam, the game recognizes specific hand movements like opening both hands to move forward or making an “L” shape for jumping. You can also use the keyboard (W, A, S, D, Space) for basic controls.

Both versions offer the same gameplay experience, but with different control options for flexibility!
